Obituary

Alice M. Mignon, Little Chute, age 84, died Sunday June 30, 2013 at Kimberly Assisted Living. She was born in Little Chute on July 30, 1928 to the late Albert and Rosella (Vanden Heuvel) Van Dyn Hoven. Alice married Donald James Mignon on October 5, 1948 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church where she was a life long member. She treasured time spent with children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Alice enjoyed bowling, golfing, traveling, a well mixed Old Fashion and working at Reynebeau Floral. She valued all of her friendships, keeping in touch with a personal note. Alice lived a prayerful life and was devoted to the Rosary.

Alice is survived by her children: Donna (Keith) Locy, Little Chute; Dale (Carol) Mignon, Little Chute; and Denise (Harry) Lange, Kaukauna; grandchildren: Claire, Jason (Melissa) and Scott Locy, Michelle (Tim) O'Brien, Becky (Gerry) Sanders, Jeremy (Nic) Mignon, Lora (Jeff) Moericke, Katie (Gio) Lange-Roberson, Jacqui and Rachel Lange; great grandchildren: Zachary Sanders, Chase and Sophie Mignon, Madysen and Hailey Moericke, Caleb and Gracie Lange-Roberson; siblings: Carol (Ivo) Haen, Clyde (Jackie) Van Dyn Hoven and Audrey Rooyakkers; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Gene Van de Hey, Jan Mignon and Gerry (Bernie) Mignon. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband Donald; his parents Alex and Loretta Mignon; sisters: LaVerne (Dick) Hoks and Virginia "Skippy" Van de Hey; and brothers and sisters-in-law: George "Yutz" Rooyakkers, Jack, Gordy (Rosie), and Ray (Elaine) Mignon, Helen (Vernon) Dewey and June (Merril) Potter.
Visitation will be held Monday July 8, 2013 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 S. Pine St. Little Chute) beginning at 3:00 p.m. until time of Mass at 5:00 p.m. The Rev. Ronald Belitz will officiate. Committal St. John Cemetery. To sign the guest book, please visit oconnellfh.com.

Alice's family would like to thank the staff of Kimberly Assisted Living for the care given these past years, with a special "Alice hug" for Jess who was a favorite. Also thank you to The Ministry Home Care Hospice team for making Mom's last weeks a time of peace.
