Alan R. Olson, Neenah, age 69, died at his home on Sunday, October 15, 2017. He was born in Appleton to the late Lynos and Helen (Kangas) Olson on April 21, 1948. Alan married Dolly (Hansen) Land in Oshkosh on July 22, 1988. He was a proud friend of Bill W. for 33 years.

Alan is survived by his wife of 29 years, Dolly; and their combined family, children: Mark (Karen) Land of Appleton; twins Michael (Nancy) Land of Appleton and Matthew (Patty) Land of Memphis; Kelly Land, of Iola; Connie (Bob Cross) Land-Cross of Neenah; Amy (Terry) Vick of Beaver Dam; and Martin (Lynne) Gunderson of River Falls; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; siblings: Judi (Dr. Jack) Sullivan and Dennis (Madelyn) Olson; and brothers and sisters-in-law. He is further survived by family friends: Sonia Schultz and her children, Ryson, Riley, Cody and Bradon; and Sara Jacob and her son, Caleb; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
