Aaron Matthew Look, age 32, of Kaukauna, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 12, 2026. He was born in Appleton on May 3, 1994, the son of Mike Thyssen and Amy Look.

Aaron’s greatest joy in life was his children. He cherished every moment spent outdoors with them—whether biking, hiking, swimming, or enjoying time Up North. Known for his playful spirit, Aaron thrived on playing jokes on his friends and family, and his infectious laugh will be remembered forever.

Aaron is survived by his children, Jayden and Elena Look, and their mother, Kristine Vande Hey; his parents, Mike Thyssen and Amy (Paul Ludke) Look; and his grandparents, Jean and Tom Thyssen. He is further survived by his siblings, Caitlyn and Tyler Thyssen; aunts and uncles, Jon (Virginia) Look, Paul (Sharon) Look, Steve Thyssen, Sherry Thyssen, and Joe (Lori) Thyssen; cousins, Crystal, Cody, Madelyn, and Gary Look; and his Godparents, Betsy and Steve Mereness and Connie DeLaTorre, along with many other relatives and dear friends.

Aaron was preceded in death by two of his favorite people, his grandparents, Gary and Jackie Look.

The family extends a special thank you to the nurses and doctors in the ICU at St. Vincent Hospital for providing Aaron with exceptional care and dignity.

We also wish to thank the medical staff at UW Organ Donation for their support during this unexpected loss.

Our deepest appreciation goes to Jon and Virginia Look for their steadfast support, and to Julie, Amanda, Jenna, and Andrew Wiegers for everything they have done for the Look family during this tragedy.
